I want to be completely honest about the numbers — no mystery, no pressure.

Keeping Rescues and Resources online costs roughly $1,000 a year. That covers the domain name, the web hosting, and the behind-the-scenes tools that keep the rescue directories, the law tracker, and the resource lists accurate and current.

That’s the entire number. Once it’s covered for the year, it’s covered — so if you see the goal has been met, please feel free to keep your money for something else. I’d genuinely rather you knew exactly where things stand than felt any pressure. Anything that does come in past the goal simply gets set aside toward next year’s costs.
